Activity #4: Screencast

I was dreading this activity.  I get stressed out when I have to talk officially, and I hate the sound of my voice recorded.  I used Screenr, which was easy to use once Jenna helped me.  (Thank you, Jenna!) It's a pretty neat tool, but I'm not sure if I would use it often.  I'm pretty sure people would rather hear someone else's voice!

Activity #3: Digital Storytelling

Here is the link to my story.  I used Storybird and I really liked it!  Once I got the hang of it, it was pretty user friendly, and I think I would actually spend more time on this site.  I had an idea for a story, but I had a little trouble finding pictures that would fit some of the pages, so I modified it a little.  I'm sure if I looked a little more, I could have found a better variety of pictures to use - (next time!)

Activty #2: Prezi

Well, I finished activity #2.  It's not pretty, but it's done!  I've never done a Prezi before, but luckily I had my daughter, Zella, help me!  (There were some computer troubles the day I tried to log on, so I used her account, too!)  The video isn't great, because it didn't have all the shapes, but it was the best I could find.

Activity 1 - Blog Bling

I think blogging would be a good way to communicate with some parents.  I would definitely need to get better at it, and I'm not sure how many parents would view it.  I use TouchMath a lot on my classroom, so I decided to put the TouchMath number line on my blog.  It's a great visual for students and parents to use.
